    The PrintMaster GS-491K hot foil stamping machine is designed to stamp on material up to 1/8" thick (single mounted 11x14s).  With automatic foil advance, this machine makes quick work of tedious jobs such as stamping proofs and print orders.  It is available with either a type holder or an adaptor for engravings such as studio logos, signatures, etc.  Compact and reasonably priced, the PrintMaster is a favorite of many photographers, many studios owning several.  Each PrintMaster GS-491K comes with 1 roll of bright gold foil, and instructions.
    Some outstanding features:  Imprints on smooth and lightly textured surfaces including all photographic papers, transparency mounts, business cards, matchbooks, napkins, and more!  Materials you can print on include vinyl, Mylar, paper, plastics, etc.

Specifications:

• Printing area is 1/2" high by 2" long
• Maximum type size is 28 points (about 1/3").
• No special type needed.  Standard foundry type or linotype can be used.  We carry a full line of quality type sets.
• Automatic foil advance after each imprint.  Spacing between imprints also adjustable.
• Prints on any smooth or lightly textured flat material up to 1/8".
• Throat depth from top or bottom of page is approximately 2 1/4".
• Adjustable temperature
• Large copy platform and easily adjustable stop.

You will need one of the following to use your PrintMaster GS-491K:

• Type Set - a hard foundry type, which will last for years under normal use.  See Type Set pricing on Accessories page.
• Bonded Type - type permanently bonded together for easier handling.  See pricing below.
• Quick Change (QC) Slide & QC Adaptor - Items such as logos, trademarks, copyrights, or signatures are photoengraved and bonded to a special slide for use only in Veach Gold Stamping machines.  See pricing below.
